Born in 1968 to Late Sri. Thiagarajan and Late Smt.Balamani, Sri.B.T.Arasakumar, Popularly known as, BT Kumar an educationalist, Pursued Master of Arts from Annamalai University is a businessman and also best known as the founder president of All India Private Educational Institution Association (Popularly known as AIPEIA), founder president All Indian NGO Association (AINA) and Managing Director of Garuda Agencies started BTK college of education in the year, 2005 at Viralimalai to cater the quality secondary grade teachers’ requirement in the rural areas with B.Ed and later upgraded to M.Ed in 2006.
With well trained and qualified staff to handle the B.Ed course and M.Ed course as per NCTE/Tamilnadu Teachers education university norms. The college is walking in pride with 200 B.Ed students and 100 M.Ed students.
Situated in calm and Eco-free atmosphere at Manaparai Road, one Km from historical spiritual town Viralimalai ( one of the spiritual land of Lord Subramania wherein Lord Subramania appeared before the famous poet Sri.Arunagirinathar) of Pudukkottai district on Tamilnadu, with a total land space of more than 10 acres with adequate build-up space. The academic building of both College of education and Arts and science college is with a state of institutional infrastructure in a hygienic and organic atmosphere. Viralimalai, which was a village panchayat recently upgraded to a special status for becoming town panchayat.
College of education, with the aim of providing good ambiance to the future teachers, with whom, India’s future will depend upon, having a spacious building to the tune of 50000 sq.fts, spacious classroom, Computer Lab, Other Lab facilities needed along with the necessary recreation need.
A good collection of books are also available on the spacious library for knowledge update to the students.
